Churches in Uppingham Parish

St Peter & St Paul

Market Place Uppingham
(01572) 829956
http://www.uppinghamchurch.co.uk

The Church of SS Peter & Paul is situated in the heart of the community. Here we continue to worship God as the people of Uppingham have done for hundreds of years. During the time of pandemic, the church is open for private prayer on Wednesdays 2-4pm. We have services on Sundays at 10am and 11am.

The existing building dates from the fourteenth century although it has been much altered over the centuries. Four pieces of late Saxon sculpture are all that now remain from the earliest church to occupy the site.

The church offers a wide range of worship and a thriving range of activities and we always aim to welcome all visitors as well as residents of the town and nearby villages.
